Crow Hop Horse Boarding

Here is a list of specs and amenities we are fairly certain of at this time:

I will try to keep everything as current as possible as our progress and preparation continues.

  • There are 26 stalls that are matted 12x12 with attached 12x24 runs. Top layer of runs have sand and have been prepared so it should be mud free all year.
  • There are 2 double stalls available for injuries or mare and foal use.
  • We will have daily (weather permitting) turn out in small herds of 3-4 horses. Our 2nd pasture is divided to accommodate.
  • 60x132 indoor arena with sand footing. And is equipped with overhead sprinkler system (We are looking into footing additives for optimum dust control).
  • 2 elevated viewing areas at each end of the arena.
  • Outdoor arena is still TBD but should, at minimum, be 100x200.
  • 1 established panel 50ft round corral. (We foresee building 2 wooden corrals to replace).
  • Hot and cold wash bay.
  • 4 tack rooms with individual locking tack lockers. Tack carts available for use.
  • 1 cross tie area (each stall equipped with blocker tie).
  • Bathroom Available.
  • Limited trailer parking.
  • Future trails will be available on back section of property. As we continue to clean up brush and overgrowth (Entire property is 18 acres).

We will evaluate and entertain the potential for lessons, play dates, training and other equine related activities down the road, but to begin this journey we want to focus and prioritize the boarding aspect of our barn. Our aim is for our clients and their horses to have a stress free, healthy and fun environment to enjoy!
